Our story
Originally built by Ed Pfeifer, Pfeifer Farm was a place for family to gather and make lasting memories. It has since been lovingly renovated by his grandson Alex Stobert and his wife Emma into a beautiful wedding venue, where they themselves were the first couple to be married. The barn and grounds blend historic character with modern comforts, creating a welcoming space for weddings and gatherings. By opening the farm as a wedding venue, Alex and Emma continue Ed’s legacy, allowing new generations to celebrate, connect, and create lasting memories in the place they hold close to their hearts.
The history
The Pfeifer Farm Wedding Venue was created to honor the legacy of Ed Pfeifer, who spent the majority of his life building a home centered on family. He took immense pride in the property, and his devotion is evident in every corner, always with family and the future in mind. Growing up, Ed's grandson Alex Stobert spent countless hours at the farm, cherishing every inch, and over time, the property became equally special to his now-wife, Emma. Together, they always knew they wanted to begin their own future there. Following Ed’s passing, Alex and Emma became the new owners, renovating the property for their own wedding and breathing new life into the farm. After being the first couple to be married on the property, they felt called to share the beauty, history, and space they love with others, preserving its legacy while creating a venue for new memories.
The barn, originally built in the 1890s, has been refurbished to preserve its historic character while providing modern comforts for weddings and gatherings. Part of the original barn has been thoughtfully repurposed, with reclaimed wood from its original structure used for benches, bars, and bathroom walls. Each indoor and outdoor space—from the ceremony sites to the patios and gathering areas—has been designed to honor the farm’s history while offering a welcoming, inviting setting for couples and their families.
Pfeifer Farm is more than a venue; it is a living legacy. Every detail reflects Ed Pfeifer’s vision of a place where families come together, celebrate, and create lasting memories. By opening the property as a wedding venue, Alex and Emma continue the farm’s legacy, allowing new generations to experience the joy, strength, and connection that have always defined Pfeifer Farm.
